if you notice my neney lately, she has a new do.

i remember that night when she stepped out from the salon, i said, “mukha kang bata.” i don’t why i said it, but it just blurted out of my mouth. well she really does look like a child. *lol*

it was different from the one she had last time (which i like more). she said it’s “full bangs”. i don’t know what that means or does it matter, as long as it looks nice it’s fine. maybe guys don’t make a fuss about hairdo–or do they? hmmm… its just, everytime i go to my barber i just say, “pareho ng dati boss!” then i sit down and wait.

anyway, it turned out ok. she likes it and i like it. everybody happy! *smiles*

though we greet each other ‘happy anniversary’ everyday since day one of our relationship, last december 28 was indeed a special occasion for us. it was our very first ‘real’ anniversary. wow. almost everybody in the office greeted us a happy anniversary. (thanks, you guys). it was a nice celebration — we dined at temple bar, played a few games in timezone, and had an ice cream treat at cold rock.

thanks sweetie for a year full of love, patience and understanding. i’m looking forward for the next one, and the next and the next… :)

happy birthday to me! yep. it was indeed a happy birthday and i’m looking forward to another good year, or maybe an even better year. i may be tired and stressed and all that but at the end of the day, i know i’m happy and blessed. i thank God because i have a wonderful family, true friends and of course, i have ali. oh, the gift i was opening in his post, was a beautiful pendant. told him i don’t need material stuff, but he insisted, i like all of his gifts, how could i resist?! *lol* every girl wants to feel special, right? and he makes me feel special all the time. (well maybe not when were bickering, but then a few minutes later he’ll be sweet and apologetic even if i started the squabble)

well im really thankful for all the wonderful, wonderful people in my life. they are the ones who make each day truly beautiful and happy.

oh, and yesterday was our 11th month too. :)

today is my neneys birthday–my watsuji aya. if you’re asking me why i call her that, well, that would be another post. if you’ve been reading my neney’s previous post you’ll get it already. anyway…

i know i should say something about my neney and the occassion, but i am lost for words here. so let me just share with you some pictures of my neney opening her gift. :)

ali’s been giving me gifts for my birthday since the start of November, mostly clothes and accessories. (he’s kinda transforming me to be a li’l more girly and stuff). a while ago he gave me another gift, a starbucks water bottle. he said i need it since i’ll be hitting the gym again soon. he even threw in a maple oat scone. thanks sweetie for being really thoughtful and sweet. good girl na ko di ba? :) iloveyou.

a birthday to remember.

it was supposed to be just an “ordinary birthday day”. lunch at the office with colleagues. open my birthday gift and that’s it. but my neney thought otherwise. i was really surprised when my neney gave me 23 gifts. yes that’s right. 23 gifts that are special to me. it was memorable for me because neney really made an effort of wrapping all 23 gifts one by one. so the whole day i was opening gifts every 30 mins or less just to open them all. and the funny thing is that, everytime i opened one i instantly craved for another. hehehe. i really felt like a child that day.

now allow me enumerate ‘em all here.

but it doesn’t end there.

we ate dinner at the seafood club by red crab in greenbelt and watched “the departed” which starred by leonardo decaprio, matt damon and jack nicholson.

eating at the seafood club was really great. imagine eating a king crab cooked in butter and lots of garlic. wow! a very delicious gastronomic experience. okay, that’s enough now. my mouth is watery again. *smiles* i wish we could go back there.

you see, it was indeed a day to remember for me. thanks neneyful.

last friday night, i went out together with my boss, one of my officemate and our visitor from embarka, bill nutt, to metro walk in ortigas. it was the last day of our training so my boss decided that we go out that night. later that afternoon, my neney was also anxious to come with me to metro walk since it was the album launching of spongecola, one of her favorite bands. in short, i was not able to accompany her because i have to go with my boss to entertain our guest.

we arrived at metro walk around 9:00pm because of the traffic. while i was looking for a bar where we could stay, i saw spongecola up on stage playing. so i hurriedly called my neney up thinking i would make her happy by just letting her hear the music playing on the background. but it didn’t turn out the way i hoped. she was mad at me after that. so i was explaining to her that that was not my intention and so on. after a while, everything was fine. and to make it up with her, i bought her a cd of spongecola. no it’s not a bribe, it’s being thoughtful. *smiles*
